About This Project

Due to challenging ground conditions, extensive structural engineering input was required in the design of the foundations and substructure. Following detailed ground assessment, a piled foundation with reinforced concrete ground beams was selected and implemented, providing a robust and stable load-transfer system capable of safely supporting the superstructure. This strategic foundation design responded effectively to the site’s challenging ground conditions while delivering clear commercial benefits, achieving cost efficiencies by removing the need for a raft foundation solution.
Developed in close partnership with SG Design Studio Architects, this striking space was realised through meticulous structural engineering and proven construction methods. The design combines traditional construction with precast floor systems and a steel-framed tabletop roof, creating a highly efficient structural solution that supports the project’s bold architectural form.
