From the outset, we have built a reputation for engineering excellence across a diverse portfolio. Our residential work includes landmark luxury homes such as the 7,000 sq ft Pastures Hill in Littleover and the bespoke three‑storey contemporary residence at Dale Street in the Staffordshire countryside, where we overcame challenging ground conditions with piled foundations and reinforced concrete ground beams. On projects like 19 Eastwood Drive in Derbyshire, we employed steel frames and long‑span metal‑web timber joists to deliver open, flexible living spaces, while at Burton Road in Branston we skilfully managed a sloping site using traditional cavity walls combined with strategic steelwork.

Beyond the residential sector, we have extensive experience in community, commercial, and industrial facilities. Our structural design for Jamia Mosque in Derby featured an optimised steel frame with precast flooring, pad and pile foundations, and careful underpinning—all while reducing pile loads and lowering embodied carbon. At the Woodborough Road car wash facility in Nottingham, we delivered a steel portal frame system with complex connection detailing, achieving an almost 7% reduction in total steel weight through value engineering.

In addition to our design work, we offer a comprehensive Structural Surveys service. Whether for prospective homebuyers, property owners, or commercial clients, our engineers carry out detailed inspections to assess the condition of existing structures. We identify defects such as cracks, subsidence, timber decay, corrosion, or inadequate load paths, and provide clear, practical reports with recommendations for repairs, remedial works, or further investigation. Our survey expertise also supports planning applications, renovation projects, and property transactions, giving clients confidence and clarity.

We have extensive experience in warehouse building design, including foundations, as well as new‑build housing development schemes.
